Cox,Benitez and Lopez were the ones who ripped off taxpayers,danno.Had Cox not named Westergren in her suit,he could've conducted the investigation and DMC wouldn't have had to use outside cousel.

EB: ..but of course,then,you two would've been screaming that the investigation wasn't legit..that Westergren was "covering up" for Garcia and the college and then you'd have been DEMANDING an outside investigation,no matter how much it cost..THEN,you wouldn't have cared about how much money was involved.
I don't know what happened awhile back that made you two develop such hatred and animosity towards Del Mar..maybe they kicked Jaime out..maybe they wouldn't let you enroll because you didn't meet the minimum academic requirements..maybe one of you applied for a job there and were rejected..I don't know,but I'm positive there's more to your vendetta against the college than just being some sort of self styled "watchdogs".
You celebrate when the college gets ripped off by frivolous,groundless lawsuits,or gets bad press..you accuse the administration of all nature of improprieties and illegal activities,yet you scream bloody murder when the college had to pay to defend themselves.
I don't know what it is that's caused you two to harbor such venom and hatred towards the college and foolish advocacy of anyone who decides to sue the college,but despite your claims,you're not in any way objective or impartial when it comes to DMC..that's blatently obvious to anyone who's read your rants against the school.In fact,don't you two refer to Mike Westergren as "Mike West" because he threatened to sue you for libel and slander if you didn't quit making unfounded allegations about him?
People like you two are what cause colleges like this to either close down entirely,or drastically cut back on their curriculum.People like Cox,Benitez,Lopez..and you two..are what cause colleges like Del Mar to have to raise tuition to the point where working class people can't afford to attend.
Despite your claims to being "watchdogs",I believe your ultimate goal is to close the college down completely.I don't think you care two whits about the college,this community,or the students who attend DMC...somehow,they've "wronged" you and now they're gonna pay.
That's what I've never understood about you two..everything's about you and the percieved "injustices" you think are being committed against you.Whether it's the Fernandezes,Christus Spohn,Del Mar College,CCREDC,Juan Garcia or any number of other people or entities you rail against on this board or your chisme blogs,..everybody's wronged you and now they're gonna pay.
Maybe it's time you quit blaming everyone else for your troubles and took a long hard look in the mirror,guys.Life isn't "fair" and nobody "owes" you anything.Not everything is some sort of grand "konspiracy" to keep you two down.
If you two ever decide to take personal responsibility for your own choices and actions and decide to be TRUE community advocates,you might actually accomplish something beneficial to the community..you've certainly got the passion..it's just horribly misguided,misdirected and self-centered.

No,I don't,Jaime..and I've never ever said I did.
There are many things I DO know,though..
I know you have some sort of personal grudge against Del Mar College,which has made you bitter and vindictive towards the school.
I know that when someone sues a public entity that the settlement money doesn't simply appear out of thin air..that every taxpayer in the taxing district pays for it..why you don't know that is beyond me.
I know that when people file frivolous,groundless lawsuits against a community college,that the costs for defending themselves against them are passed on in the form of higher tuition,staff cuts,curriculum cuts and higher taxes...why you don't know that is beyond me.
You want to be thanked,Jaime?..ok..here goes:
Thank you,Jaime Kenedeno and dannoyted1 (and your dozens of other screen names)..for taking up the cause of three thieves who ultimately stole over half a million dollars from the people of Corpus Christi.Thank you for working diligently to try to embarass the college,it's administrators,and it's Board of Regents.Thank you for helping to raise our taxes while simultaneously disparaging the reputation of a decades old community college.Thank you for understanding that the people who work for colleges like these don't have to answer to anybody,including the President,the Board of Regents or the taxpayers.Thank you for not needing proof to believe that every Del Mar administrator is a sexual harasser,and thank you for believing that every Del Mar student is a "victim" of same.
And lastly..thank you for believing that everything that goes on in South Texas is all part of a grand conspiracy created specifically to get YOU.
Three cheers for Jaime Kenedeno and his faithful companion,Batgirl! We may ultimately lose a fine community college thanks to him and people like him,but so be it..it was full of sexual harassers anyway.
